Peake Petcare Soothing Ear Cleaner for Dogs and Cats (formerly Quistel)

This ear cleaner disinfects and soothes the ear whilst loosening and releasing accumulated dirt and ear wax.

Contains Gentian Violet and Boric acid and has Antifungal, Anti-bacterial and Antiseptic properties.

Before administering, warm the ear cleaner in the bottle in a cup of warm water for 5 mins, shake the bottle vigorously for 2 mins before each application.

Insert the nozzle into the ear canal and squeeze until the ear canal is flooded, gently massage for 30 seconds to a minute and then let your pet shake its head which will loosen the ear wax.

Remove any loosened debris around the outer ear with cotton wool. Repeat application twice a day for upto 2 weeks, reducing to once a day for the next two weeks.

The high quality of the active ingredients may cause staining, so administer in appropriate surroundings. You can, if needed add petroleum jelly to the fur around the outer ear to help prevent staining of fur.

Precautions

Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, hot surfaces-no smoking.

Keep container tightly closed.

Wash thoroughly after handling.

Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid breathing vapours. 

Quistel is an isopropyl alcohol based solution of boric acid 4% and gentian violet 0.001%
