McAdams is a dry complete food but rather than being made with carcass and meat meal, it is baked (not extruded) using whole ingredients including whole chicken (chicken as you would buy, minus the feet, head and guts). In fact, as far as we are concerned McAdams is the first dry dog food in the world to be made from WHOLE chicken – British FREE RANGE chicken too!

Other pet foods are made with either free run or battery chicken.As you would expect from an ultra premium pet food, McAdams is grain free. It’s meat meal free too which offers our customers a choice against other foods that are all made either exclusively or in part with meat meal.

Meat meal is made by processing animal parts discarded by the human food chain and whist it is a great source of single protein, we do believe fresh meat is best.McAdams Free Range Chicken Small Breed is made differently from most other pet foods too.

Rather than being extruded using steam, pressure and very high temperatures, McAdams is slow roasted and then dried in warm air ovens. The result is truly unique tasting biscuit with a roasted chicken aroma that dogs adore – try it, and you will see your dog agrees!

The joint care provision in McAdams Free Range Chicken Small Breed doesn’t come from added chemicals but from the naturally found levels of chondroitin and glucosamine found in New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel. Although expensive, this is a wonderful sustainably sourced ingredient for helping joint issues in pets.

Whole British Free Range Chicken (50%), Sweet Potato (22%), Pea Flour, Chicken Fat, Pea Fibre, Cellulose, Chicken Stock, Pea Protein, Salmon Oil, Yeast, Minerals, Vitamins, Marigold Meal, Green Lipped Mussel (0.1%), Prebiotics (FOS 0.1%, MOS 0.1%), Citrus Extract, Seaweed, Lentil Flour, Yucca, Spinach Powder, Tomato Pomace, Carrot Pomace (0.01%), Chamomile Flowers, Lavender Powder, Cranberries (0.01%), Rosemary Extract.
