A Johnston and Jeff Parrot No. 1 mix is a traditional based mix, designed to be supplemented with fresh fruit and vegetables.

It contains Striped, Sunflower seed, White Sunflower seed, Safflower seed, Whole Maize, Paleskin Peanuts, Jumbo peanut, Pine Nuts, Chillies, Flaked Maize, Flaked Peas, Puffed Maize, Puffed Wheat, Naked Oats, Buckwheat and Red Dari. 

All Johnston and Jeff seed mixes go through a five stage cleaning process to eliminate broken grains, dust and impurities giving you the piece of mind that your bird is getting the best. 

Seed and Nuts are cleaned individually to a 99.9% purity level and only Human grade fruit and specialist Nuts are selected.

Aflatoxin Tested a note from Johnston & Jeff

Johnston & Jeff test all their peanuts and nuts in shells for aflatoxin before they enter the factory, so we are as sure as we possibly can be that they are entirely safe for birds to consume. We understand that naturally, despite the benefits of feeding Monkey Nuts and even with our stringent precautions in place, not everyone will want to feed them. We recognise it is a personal choice and for that reason the Monkey Nuts have been replaced with jumbo peanuts (with same nutritonal value as monkey nuts) in our parrot mixes
