Overview

For Firework stress, travel sickness and anxiety in general, Dorwest Valerian compound 30ml, does not cause drowsiness or impair normal behaviour.

This compound can reduce the anxiety and calm your dog or cat if they are stressed by the fireworks. Dorwest produce a range of licensed veterinary herbal medicines, the Valerian compound has a AVM-GSL classification. The compound can be added onto the tongue or in the food whichever is preferred.

Cats find the smell of Valerian compound attractive and a few drops placed on the cats bedding can reduce anxiety in even unmanageable cats.

Dosage

Administer by mouth. It can be used for Dogs and Cats at the required dose.

1/4 tsp Small Dogs and Cats, Medium 1/2 tsp, Large Dogs 1 tsp, Giant Dog breeds up to 1 1/2 tsp.

No more than twice a day. 

Use short term only.

Do NOT use during pregnancy.

Minimum age of use 8 weeks. 

Cats - Caution should be taken when administering to Exotic breeds of cat with low body fat, as very occasionally hyperactivity has been induced.
